News just in...

...with TechHub acting as an official partner for Droidcon this week (6/7 Oct), this month’s TechHubTuesday Demo Night will have a mobile app focus.

In addition to the usual invaluable feedback from the TechHub audience, there’ll be the opportunity to win a free ticket and a slot to show off your app* at Droidcon to a host of Android press from across Europe, not to mention a plethora of companies looking to source the newest and brightest apps!

TechHubTuesday Demo Night slots are limited so book here to submit your app for consideration (or to check out what's new out there).

(*Only Android apps will be eligible for a place at Droidcon but we’ll be accepting submissions for other formats for Demo Night. Prize(s) for Droidcon are at the discretion of TechHub.)

About Demo Night...

Come along, meet other tech entrepreneurs, have a drink and show everyone what you're working on. If you'd like to demo your product, enter the details in the registration form and we'll confirm with you if you have a demo slot, as they're limited and so many great companies apply.

TechHub Demo Night is for technology entrepreneurs, runs from 6.30-8.30ish pm and is free for TechHub Members and starts from just six pounds (plus fees - boo!) for others.

Demos will be kept to 3 minutes, with around 5 minutes for questions.

TechHub Demo Night isn't about pitching for funds, it's really an opportunity to show the community what you're working on, get some feedback, and see what others are toiling away on. While some angels and VCs do pop along sometimes, don't feel that it's a formal pitch. (We are looking at a special Investors-oriented event soon). That said, make sure you have a great presentation - communicate with style!

So pass the details along to anyone you'd love to see demo their product.

If you'd like to bring a friend, please ask them to register here too so we know how many people are coming.

NOTE FOR POTENTIAL DEMOERS...

You will have a maximum 3 mins to demo your product (not business) followed by brief Q&A. With 6 other companies demoing you will need to stand out so keep it snappy, info-rich and think about your audience (tech / business). People will want to know what the financial and practical benefits are of your product so make those clear. This is not a pitch for funding but addressing your audience like their opinion counts is more likely to strengthen your pitch and win you admirers!

The format of this is as follows:

6.30pm Drinks & networking

7.00pm Event

8.00pm More drinks & networking

About TechHub

TechHub is a new and exciting project creating a physical space in London for tech start-ups not just based nearby but entrepreneurs and others in the tech industry from across the UK, Europe, the US and beyond.

We've created a new community space reflecting the vibrancy and global outlook of the technology scene.

TechHub is affordable and accessible, with a great environment to bring together the right people in one place - the people who really do want to change the world through their businesses. We're right on 'Silicon Roundabout' in the Old Street area of London where there is an existing cluster of tech start-ups.
